SEO for Albuquerque Businesses
Albuquerque is one big city made of a lot of small markets. A dentist near UNM, a landscaper covering the Foothills, and a food truck that parks somewhere different on the West Mesa every week all get found in different ways. We build your SEO around where your customers actually are. We're based just across the river in Rio Rancho.
- Service pages
- Search markup
- Google Business + reviews
- No contracts, no lock-in
How Google picks who shows up
Google says local results come down mostly to three things: relevance, distance and prominence. In plain words:
- Relevance: does your site clearly say you do the thing they searched for?
- Distance: how close are you to the person searching, or to the area they named?
- Prominence: how well known and well reviewed are you?
National chains win a lot of searches on budget. Local search is different. A local business with a clear site, a matching profile and good reviews can show up right next to them, sometimes above them.
Relevance: a page for every job
Your customers don't search "local business." They search "landscaping Albuquerque" or "dentist near me." If every service you offer sits on one page, none of those searches has anywhere specific to land.
So every service gets its own page, its own title and description, and its own search markup. Your sitemap goes into Google Search Console on your own domain, so Google finds the new pages.
Distance: Albuquerque is a lot of ground
Somebody searching near UNM and somebody searching up in the Foothills can get different results for the same words. That's distance at work.
- Fixed-location businesses, like the dentist near UNM, need a profile and site that match their address exactly, and directions that work on any phone
- Service-area businesses, like the landscaper covering the Foothills, need the areas they really serve named on the site and on their Google profile
- Businesses that move, like the food truck, need a service-area profile and a schedule on the site that says where they'll be this week
We don't make a thin copy of the same page for every neighborhood. Google treats that as spam, and customers can tell. Real pages, real areas.
Prominence: reviews and a profile that matches
Reviews are the part you can't fake and we won't try. What we can do is make asking for them automatic, and make sure your Google Business Profile matches your site: same name, same phone, same city.
What it looks like on a real Albuquerque site
In Albuquerque, VisionAir sells Rainbow systems as an authorized distributor. We built their ten pages by hand. When someone taps "Visit Us," it opens their own phone's maps app, Apple Maps on an iPhone and the default app on Android, instead of forcing everyone into Google Maps. Small thing. It's one less step between a search and a visit.
All About Doors & More has been putting in doors around Albuquerque for more than 36 years. Their site went from seven services on one Wix page to seven dedicated pages, each with its own questions answered and its own search markup.
An SEO company across the river
We're based in Rio Rancho, about twenty minutes from downtown Albuquerque. You hear back within one business day, from the person doing the work. If you'd rather talk face to face, we can meet at your office or your shop.
Questions, answered
Albuquerque is huge. Can I show up across the whole city?
It depends on what kind of business you run. Distance is part of how Google ranks local results, so a shop tends to show up most near where it is. A business that goes to its customers can name the parts of the metro it serves. We won't promise you every corner of the city, and we'll tell you where you have the best shot.
Do I need a separate page for every neighborhood?
No. You need a page for every service and the areas you really serve, named clearly. Copying one page fifty times with a different neighborhood name doesn't help, and Google treats it as spam.
I'm already paying someone for SEO. Can you look at what they're doing?
Bring it to the free call. We'll look at your site, your pages and your Google profile and tell you straight what we see.
Will you meet in person?
Yes. We're in Rio Rancho, about twenty minutes from downtown. Your shop or your office both work.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. No contracts, no lock-in. If you want to leave, the work is yours.
What do I get to see along the way?
A quarterly report on what's moving. And when a page changes, you'll know what changed and why.
